I was very scared initially

When I found out I was pregnant, I was fifteen years old. I am now seventeen. I took a home pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant. I was on the phone that same day calling the doctor's office. When I went into the Dr.'s office and got checked I was a month along. When I found out I was pregnant I was scared, but after a while that feeling went away and I was overwhelmed with joy. Watching my son grow is wonderful. When he was only a month old I was thinking about all the exciting things I got to look forward to, like being able to hear his first word or see him take his first step. 

I never once considered adoption or abortion because there wasn't any way I could give a piece of myself away and be able to look at myself in the mirror everyday.If anyone I knew was considering having an abortion the only thing I could say is be absolutely sure it is what you want to do because it is okay to be scared. Just know that there's a lot of support groups and just explore all of your options.
