“Voiceless” is a new film drama that follows Jesse Dean (played by Rusty Joiner), a discharged soldier who discovers an abortion clinic operating right across the street from his Philadelphia church. Jesse struggles to motivate his church to get involved in protecting unborn babies, and eventually must decide whether to risk it all to fight for what is right.
The film already has received three awards at several secular film festivals, the Christian Times reports. It received “Best Feature” at the Northeast Film Festival, “Best Feature Film” at the California Independent Film Festival and the People’s Choice “Best Feature Film,” according to the report.
