Speakers at the Rally for Life 2023

We've a fabulous line-up of speakers at the Rally and the RALLY FEST this year - here's some of what you can hear on Saturday: 

RALLY 

Dr Trevor Hayes OBGYN who will speak on the right of every doctor, nurse and medical professional to conscientiously object to abortion - and why abortion is not, and will never be, healthcare. 

Conor O'Dowd will share his experiences of being a leading advocate for people with Down Syndrome - his letter to Dr Fergal Malone decrying the horrifying 95% abortion rate for babies in the Rotunda made headlines nationwide. 

Isabel Vaughan Spruce was arrested and charged for the 'thought crime' of silently praying in her head at an abortion clinic in Britain. The arrest made national news and a video of police cautioning Isabel went  globally viral. She has now been formally acquitted, and her courage is an inspiration to all those concerned with protecting Life, free speech and civil rights.

Senator Sharon Keogan is a fearless and outspoken advocate for life and we are delighted to have her address the Rally this year.

Peadar Tóibin TD, leader of Aontú, is widely admired for his strong pro life leadership. He will speak about the urgent need for pro-life political action at the Rally.

RALLY FEST 

Fr. Stephen Imbarrato was ordained in 2005 and will share his personal testimony of starting a crisis pregnancy centre across an abortion business and how he set up Project Defending Life which was dedicated to prayer vigils and sidewalk counseling in front of Planned Parenthood. He will also share his personal experience of abortion where in 2001 he discovered of the abortion of his twins in 1976.

Maria Steen is a barrister, mother of 5, and a hero to many in the pro life movement for her sterling defence of both mother and child in many media debates. She will speak about going forward in hope to rebuild a culture of life. 

Vicky Wall of Every Life Counts will tell us how she helps families where baby has a life-limiting condition and will share her personal story of her beautiful little girl, Líadáin.
