Joan Appleton

Joan Appleton is a registered nurse and until the autumn of 1989 was the head nurse of Commonwealth Women's Clinic, abortions centre in Washington, DC area. She was also active in NOW (National Organisation for Women). 

She currently works for Pro-Life Action Ministries, St. Paul, Min, as a speaker and writer. She has testified before the Minnesota legislature and the US senate on behalf of the pro-life movement. Joan is actively developing the first fellowship in America for former abortion providers. The group is known as "The Society of Centurions in America."
