New branch of a life-affirming nonprofit organisation Gianna Care to open in Kerry!

Gianna Care, crisis pregnancy support organisation is opening a new location in Kerry, next to two existing ones in Dublin and Galway. The new centre is to offer most of the services the other locations offer as well including: pregnancy counselling, post-abortion counselling, emotional and financial support for women, free maternity and baby equipment and much more.

The organisation says they considered postponing the opening until a later point in time, however the increased demand for their services in other locations convinced them to go ahead and open, despite the circumstances.

"In the past few weeks since all the restrictions have been put in place we have seen an increase in calls from women who are needing a lot of emotional support and luckily we have been able to provide this support over the phone. It’s very important for us to be able to continue with this life affirming mission even through tough times like this.

We are really looking forward to opening our doors to the public as soon as the restrictions lift but for the moment we are just at the end of the phone and will do whatever we can for whomever needs us!

We have received so many donations of baby items to date and are just overwhelmed with the support we have been given so far!
