Thousands expected to gather in London for annual March for Life UK

Thousands are expected to gather in London for March for Life UK this Saturday, September 5th.

Last year's march saw an estimated 10,000 participants — the biggest on record.

As well as the march itself, there will be the ‘Pro-life Family Summit’ and ‘Youth Summit’.

The Pro-life Family Summit will be taking place at the Emmanuel Centre, Westminster. It will feature speakers such as Dr. Aaron Edwards who will deliver a talk on being pro-life and pro-family and Krista Corbello, who will share her testimony about losing a sibling to abortion.

There will also be a live discussion on ‘fatherhood’, with Fr Matt Roche-Saunders interviewing Adam Smith-Connor, Josh MacDonald and Ryan Christopher.

Similarly, a live discussion on ‘motherhood’ will also be taking place during the Pro-life Family Summit, with Sr Andrea Fraile, Emily Vaughan-Spruce and Chiara Finaldi being interviewed by Katherine Bennett.

The Pro-life Family Summit will end with a talk by Brandi Swindell on the reality of how ‘abortion hurts the family’.

There will also be a Youth Summit, where young people aged 18-35 are invited to gather, socialise, discuss the pro-life cause and hear some of the talks mentioned above. There will also be activities for younger children, such as crafts and face painting, as well as a mother and baby area.

The march itself will begin from 1:30PM, from the Emmanuel Centre to Parliament Square.

At the Square, attendees will hear from speakers Jeff Joaquin and his post-abortive testimony, Nanayaa and her testimony on choosing life, Isabel Vaughan-Spruce as co-CEO for March for Life UK and finally Caroline Farrow, on how abortion hurts the family.

Various religious leaders and fifteen Catholic bishops (a record episcopal turnout) will then end the event with final prayers.
