Gruesome details emerge from abortionist's trial

Bone chilling details continue to emerge from the trial regarding the “house of horrors” abortion clinic run by Doctor Kermit Gosnell, who has been accused of killing seven babies and one female patient. Over the past weeks, jurors have experienced the courtroom being transformed into the squalor of Gosnell’s clinic, heard disturbing testimony from clinic workers, and witnessed graphic photos displaying disregarded remains of babies killed after being born alive.

Judge Jeffrey P. Minehart ruled the jurors could not visit the preserved squalor that once was the Women’s Medical Society, so the prosecution brought it to them. The courtroom was transformed into Gosnell’s procedure room, which included the decayed medical equipment used for abortions.

Horrifying pictures were shown to the jury of babies with snipped necks, which included Karnamaya Mongar’s baby.

She was killed by clinic worker Sherry West when she received a lethal dose of the painkiller Demoral. Sherry herself testified about an experience in the clinic when she was handed a glass pan with an underdeveloped baby stating, “it didn’t have eyes or a mouth but it was like screeching, making this noise … It sounded like an alien.”

The first employee who testified against Gosnell spoke tearfully about how she cut the spinal cords of at least ten live babies. Medical assistant Adrienne Moton, administered drugs, preformed ultrasounds, and assisted with abortion procedures without any proper qualification or training. She had taken a picture on her mobile phone of “Baby A” who is believed to be have been about 30-weeks old. When the photo was revealed a female juror covered her mouth in horror. Adrienne has plead guilty to a reduce crime of third degree murder for testifying against Gosnell.

Steven Massoff aided Gosnell in preforming late term abortions and recently gave graphic testimony against him in exchange for leniency. Massoff has pleaded guilty to murdering two newborn babies and a slew of lesser charges. He claims to have seen about 100 babies born alive and have their necks snipped with scissors that caused their “demise”. At times when women would be in labour at the clinic he describes the horrific scene as “it would rain fetuses. Fetuses and blood all over the place.” Massoff has a medical degree from Granada in the West Indies but did not complete a medical residency. Within a few months at the clinic Gosnell allowed him to preform examines alone and write prescriptions in Gosnell’s name.

Gosnell’s heinous story continues to unfold this very day in what Megan McArdle from the Daily Beast calls “the trial of the century”.
