The mum of Ireland’s smallest surviving premature baby is over the moon that her daughter is now a happy, healthy child.
Katie Keogh’s daughter Charlotte weighed less than a pound - just 390g - when she was born in June 2019.
Now Charlotte is doing fine - she’s just a little bit behind on some milestones.
“She’s big and bold - the terrible twos have definitely hit,” Katie told RSVP Live.
“We’ve been given a diagnosis of Global Developmental Delay. So for example, most babies would have walked by 12, 18 months - Charlotte’s only started to walk in the last few weeks, at two years and three months old.
“She seems to be doing everything in her own time, on her own terms!”
