Why are rich countries so concerned with the growing populations in developing countries?
UNFPA received $320 million in 1997 from wealthy "First World" nations. (UNFPA Report 1997)
In a controversial 1974 US government memorandum called NSSM 2000, it was stated that population growth in less developed countries might create "political or even national security problems for the US"
The memorandum advised :"...the President and the Secretary of State treat the subject of population growth control as a matter of paramount importance"- NSSM 2000, US Government, 1974, pg 18
The US responded with widespread investment in overseas population control programmes fronted by organisations such as UNFPA.
Supporting ethnic cleansing?
UNFPA officials admitted they were invited into Kosovo by the Yugolsavian government under President Milosevic. (Stirling Scruggs, UNFPA spokesman, Taped message www.pop.org/kosovo/kosovofile.htm). It was this same government who subsequently oppressed the Kosovar people.
A UNFPA officer (told) how the Milosevic regime planned ethnic cleansing of the Albanians by reducing Kosovar's high birth rate through "reproductive health" practices. (Kosovarpress, "New Proof of Serb Plans to use Reproductive Health as a genocidal tool" 20 July 1999)
The New York Post reported: "UNFPA confirms that months later, Milosevic invited the agency into Kosovo....and tellingly, nowhere else in Serbia." (New York Post 22 Aug 1999)
Subsequently, UNFPA shipped 'reproductive health' kits for thousands of people to Kosovor refugee camps in Albania (UNFPA Press Release 8/4/99)
These deadly 'health' kits contained abortifacient pills, intra-uterine devices (made in Ireland) and suction devices called "manual vacuum aspirators" (UNFPA Fact Sheet Fax 7/9/99)
At the time of the Kosovar refugee crisis, the Albanian Family Planning Association (AFPA) commenced "cooperation" with the UNFPA in distributing "reproductive kits" to several parts of the region. Trainers in manual vacuum aspiration were on hand. (Briefing Sheet on Kosovar Refugees, AFPA, 1999)
What are Manual Vacuum Aspirators for? At a joint UNFPA-UN agency meeting in 1995, on the subject of abortion techniques for refugees, it was (quote):
"unanimously acknowledged that training in manual vacuum aspiration (MVA) should be provided and this should be introduced as the preferred method (of abortion techniques)".

Coerced Sterilisations
There is now evidence that the Peruvian Government, which is in receipt of substantial funding for it's population control programme from the UNFPA, has engaged in a massive campaign of coercive sterilisations against Peruvian women.
Peru's controversial UNFPA backed sterilisation campaign has been in place since 1996.
Several months ago the respected Spanish newspaper El Pais obtained a draft of a report which quotes Peruvian officials confirming that medical personnel were pressured to meet Orwellian sterilisation quotas. Women were reportedly coerced by a variety of threats and inducements, while others were not properly informed of the permanent nature of the sterilisations or of the possible complications.
A Peruvian mother, Ms Auristela Melgar says the Peruvian Ministry of Health pressured her to be sterilised three years ago. She was required to sit through three hours of lectures about the importance of family planning in exchange for a month's worth of cereal and dried milk to feed her children. Ms Melgar told health workers she already had been sterilised, but the food was withheld from her children until she submitted to the indoctrination class.
These actions violate the Programme of Action of the 1994 International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD), which prohibits quotas, coercion and programmes conducted without participants' full and informed consent. The UNFPA share indirect responsibility for theses abuses, because, even though there is no evidence so far that they have directly financed the sterilisation campaign, the UNFPA has been instrumental in building the infrastructure that allowed these crimes to take place.

Using vaccine programmes to sterilize millions of women and girls and Kenya
It was reported in late 2014, by LifeSiteNews, that Kenya’s Catholic bishops are charging two United Nations organizations with sterilizing millions of girls and women under cover of an anti-tetanus inoculation program sponsored by the Kenyan government.
According to a statement released Tuesday by the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, the organization has found an antigen that causes miscarriages in a vaccine being administered to 2.3 million girls and women by the World Health Organization and UNICEF.
“We sent six samples from around Kenya to laboratories in South Africa. They tested positive for the HCG antigen,” Dr. Muhame Ngare of the Mercy Medical Centre in Nairobi told LifeSiteNews. “They were all laced with HCG.”
